REAL ESTATE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY ACTUAL TAX BILLING

Actual bills for the 3rd and 4th quarters are mailed together on or before January 1st of each year.  The 3rd quarter is due February 1st and 4th quarter is due May 1st.  If these dates fall on a holiday or the weekend, payments will be due on the next business day.

If you have recently acquired a property and didn’t receive a bill, please call the Tax Collector’s office at 978-582-4132, and we will provide that information to you. It is the responsibility of the property owner to obtain his/her tax bill if one is not received.

Under Massachusetts General Law failure to receive a tax bill does not negate the validity of the bill and/or penalties and interest it may accumulate.
