Principal Clerk

The Town of Lunenburg seeks qualified applicants for Principal Clerk in the Tax Collectors office.

Working under the direct supervision of the Tax Collector, this position provides administrative, customer service, and financial support services to the Tax Collector’s office.

High School Diploma required. 2 years’ banking or customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of MUNIS, is desirable. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and familiarity with the methods and procedures of municipal billing and collection, preferred. Must have basic accounting, and outstanding customer service skills.
