*IF YOU NEED FOOD

We are distributing Salvation Army Emergency Food Boxes to Lunenburg elders.  Call 978-582-4166 to make your appointment for pick up.

We are recommending Heart to Home Meals for Seniors age 60+. They are based out of Marlborough MA and will deliver frozen meals to your home. The menu is large and pricing is reasonable. Check them out at hearttohomemeals.com or call 1-508-658-3000. They deliver in Lunenburg on Fridays.
They are practicing all of the recommended Corona Virus safety procedures and will only take payment by credit card.

*MEALS ON WHEELS

Beginning on Monday March 23, 2020, Meals on Wheels clients will be getting their weekly deliveries on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Meals on Wheels clients are encouraged to place a cooler out side of their door to limit social contact with the staff.
If you do not have a cooler, meals will be in large plastic bags or placed outside of the clients door.
This is a temporary measure until things get back to normal.

We cannot stress enough how important it is to limit your social contact with people at this time.

The safety and well-being of our seniors and our staff is our highest priority.  We will take this on a week to week basis and will update via phone calls and social media.

We encourage you to continue to take standard precautions, including frequent hand washing, to avoid the spread of any flu-like illness. For the latest information, please visit the Coronavirus 2019 section of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website.
